Hehe, I too have Realtek AC'97 audio integrated onto my motherboard, but it's currently disabled as I have my own C-Media sound card, getting a new Creative Audigy in soon.

However, on-topic. I only did get 2 to work, hence why I got a new sound card, and now another to get 7 speakers.

I know it's supposed to be compatible, but I could never get more than 2 working as well.

Sorry!

Lucky.

I could never get it working for anything. Not even just play in Windows Media Player or Winamp for my music.

ever try adjusting the audio properties by right clicking the speaker icon, and clicking on adjust audio properties, then clicking on advanced by speaker settings? Should be able to adjust your surround capabilities from there.
